Ko Dhanam

After one’s death, the soul that is taken to the earth suffers in Asiphadra forest, unable to cross the Vaidharanya river (a river flowing with excrement, mucus, phlegm, and hot water).

There is no suffering for those who donate cows. The Garuda Purana says that the cow donated by him would appear there and cross the Vaidharanya river holding its tail.
